We celebrated Memorial Day on Saturday by watching a parade from my aunt and uncle's front lawn in Annville. My cousin and her family came up from Virginia for the weekend and Minnie loved those Fuller kids! The parade was pretty lengthy (and funny). I guess that's what you can expect from a small town. It included the local funeral director as well as the Atheist and Agnostics club. Loved it!
This float was one of my personal favorites from the local VA hospital
Oh boy!
After the parade we went to a dairy out in the country owned and operated by a cute little Mennonite family. They had ice cream for $1 a scoop and bags of feed which you could buy to feed their goats and ponies. The kids loved it, that is, except Minnie. I held her hand up to the horses nose and she pretty much just yelled right at the horse. Hopefully she won't hold it against me later in life. I just can never show her this picture and how hard I'm laughing at her.
Once the baby goats came around she was a little bit less nervous. It's just so funny to see her like this because she's rarely scared of anything.
What a lovely (and may I add, muggy) weekend we have had! Oh, and we made the life altering discovery on Friday that Bob only has to work a half day every Friday. I love Hershey!! Let's hear it for a 3 1/2 day work week this week!
Looks like a lot of fun! Have a fun and safe summer and keep posting!
ReplyDeleteI love blogger! I have found so many people on here that I dont usually see around! Your daughter is so cute! She looks just like her daddy! We need to have a west high reunion soon! :)
ReplyDeleteThe VA float takes the cake on this post. Minnie bawling her head off is a very very close second.
