lunch with the girls

Yesterday Julia, Minnie and I met my sister-in-law Megan downtown for lunch.
Minnie refused to leave the house until I told her we were going to see Megan (which she pronounces Meguck). Then she was all about it and ran over so I could help her put on her coat.
Megan is obviously her favorite.

Megan now works at the office where I worked for two years prior to having Minnie.
It was a lot of fun to catch up with old colleagues and see how the place had changed.
We had lunch at Toasters, which is just across the street from the office building where I would go at least once a week when I worked there.
There's something about the balsamic vinegar on their sandwiches that I can't get enough of.
Divinity.

Minnie had a grand old time sorting through Megan's makeup bag, which she does on the regular.
The girl loves Chapstick, lip gloss, "pretties" (jewelry) and "cutes" (bows).
She's a girl's girl but in my heart of hearts, I hope she's a tomboy when she grows up.
Heaven knows she's already a bruiser so she's got that much going for her.
