a little rain shower baby shower

Our good friends, Christine and Lance, are having a little boy close to the end of October and we couldn't be more excited for them!

The road to conception was not a quick one for them and this little babe is kind of a miracle.

I almost cried the day they told us they were expecting.

My friend Jessie and I threw Christine a little shower last weekend, and after opening lots of gifts and eating tons of good food, the three of us, Robert and Lance ended up hanging around our house for another few hours chatting.

That's what good friends are for, eh?

We are generally the last to leave most parties.

We also continued to consume lots of good food and Minnie was ecstatic that her best buds were around when my brother and sister-in-law dropped her off after watching she and Lou for me (bless them!).

And guess what? We ended up hanging out with the whole gang just a few hours later to watch the BYU v. Utah game.

Apparently we can't get enough of each other.
