st. george pt. 2

The Saturday night of our trip was probably one of my favorites.
It was one of those warm summer nights you will think back on time and time again.
We all met up on Main Street in downtown St. George at a store called Urban Renewal which has tons of the best collection of vintage and home decor.
I could have spent my lifetime in that place.
I would have just set up camp and lived there if I could.
Unfortunately I had no idea how much I was going to love it and we got there 30 minutes before it closed.
We probably would have had to rent a U-Haul to take home with us if I'd had much longer.
We then crossed Main Street for dinner at The Pizza Factory and ate waaaaaay too many carbs.
Just the way I like it.

After dinner we spent an hour or so just meandering around downtown.
There are so many cute little things, like that old little phone booth and the classic firetruck which Minnie and Liam loved.
Just a few blocks down there is an awesome town square with a splash pad, library, children's museum and a carousel...which costs $0.50 a ride.
That alone made the night for us.

We stopped at the Dixie rock overlooking the city as we were leaving to come home.
Minnie was so excited about "climbing the mountain," which was really just taking a few steps up some enormous boulders, but for those two little legs I'm sure it felt like a rugged hike and she was so proud of herself.
Oh man, I'm ready to go back.
Thank goodness today is Friday and it's a looooong weekend!
Yeehaw!
